Partnerships Development: Trai Merdia TV, Antilliaans Dagblad Newspaper, Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Economic Development digital platforms.

Many climate actions are geared to individuals, but how many are geared to businesses, especially small businesses in islands so susceptible to climate change.

Hi, this is the Curaçao Business Climate Action. Our objective was to spur climate action by businesses, by working with diverse partners.

Our impact: We reached 15,000 people with tips for climate action by businesses. Some material will be permanently on YouTube.

We worked with 14 diverse partners.

Products of eight microenterprises were put in retail stores. We donated a hundred plants to schools.

What’s next?

Courses for micro-entrepreneurs to make products from local material

A survey for businesses to measure their climate action and get tips.

And encourage teams to participate in ICAC 2022.
